现今之所以能演进至企业对企业虚拟电子交易市集，是由于其所须整合之必要技术，举凡硬体及网路基础建设(Infrastructure)、软体之建构平台(Plateform、Framework)、网路上之交易行为[如电子目录(e-Catalog)、拍卖议价(Auction)、反向拍卖议价(Reverse Auction)]、后端B2B Collaboration(资讯流，金流，物流之整合)及安全机制已渐趋成熟，才可能架构出成功的虚拟电子交易市集。

资料传递之格式主要采用网际网路资料交换的标准格式- Extended Markup Language(XML)，使用RosettaNet做为虚拟电子交易市集的标准流程及资讯应用协定。讯息沟通的传送格式，则多可与ICE、cXML、bizTalk等不同格式互相转换，或与传统之EDI进行资讯交换。前端作业之网路伺服器(Web Server)，须能传回各种格式，如HTML、Java Applications、WML等，以供显示于电脑之显示器、手机、PDA等。兹将各解决方案整理如下：
CommerceOne - 着重非直接物料性之采购自动化 (Indirect procurement automation) 且可连结各市集形成一全球性市集，但缺点为尚未本土化。此解决方案可适用于大中小企业，台湾之Com2B即与CommerceOne结盟。
Oracle Exchange - 甲骨文公司之技术与虚拟电子交易市集(Exchange)结合，可提供完整的解决方案。此解决方案与供应链管理系统之串联即将完成，将有助于其产品之推广。 Auto-Xchange，RetailersMarketXchange和其本身之OracleExchange.com均是由Oracle Exchange开发而成。
Extricity 在數位資產量化交易中的應用初探 Alliance - 其Public Process之Business Objects可将标准化之资讯在Hub间传递，亦可与Satellite的Private Processes进行传输，而各企业内之系统可不需再做任何更改，只需与Private Process进行串联即完成了与虚拟电子交易市集之建构。

另外还有 i2 (HighTech Matrix)、EdgeWave (Nettrader)、IBM、Vitria的解决方案。
从The Extended Enterprise到 B-to-B e Marketplace
